I am a psychotherapist by day and an artist by night. I had planned upon pursuing an art degree in college, however at age 18, I took a basic drawing class, in which I poured my heart and soul into and received a D. Because I was young and insecure in my ability to become a professional artist, I decided to pursue my second favorite passion.
Several years ago, while facilitating a children's group in which we were doing a lot of drawing I could no longer resist the urge to paint and create and began my art career in ernest. I studied with the late, great Jim Prohl, Greg Rodriguez, John Clarke, Elisa Camp and James Hempel.
